The Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame has been an integral part of the Syracuse Sports community since its inaugural Induction Dinner and Ceremony in 1987.  The initial 1987 class of 10 sports greats has grown to over 220 Hall of Famers who represent a tremendous cross-section of our sports community.

 

Every year since our first Dinner, we have selected and honored those men and women who have helped make Syracuse the great sports community that it is.  Each year over 500 people gather for our annual dinner to honor these sports greats.  This event is televised periodically throughout the year on Time Warner Cable Sports.

 

As the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame continues to grow and to perpetuate our sports heritage, we have decided to ask a number of selected companies, organizations, and individuals to take a serious look at underwriting the cost of the Dinner while gaining valuable visibility and credibility by becoming associated with the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame as a Sponsor.

 

The Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame is structured as a 501 © (3) not for profit historical organization.
